September marks 20 years in business for NIVO member Livewell Vending, and founder and director Aaron Prout is marking the milestone with a rather different challenge.
On Sunday 27th September, Aaron will take on the BMW Berlin Marathon, following 12 weeks of training and around 500km of running.
Berlin will be Aaron’s second Abbott World Marathon Major after London…and he won’t have too long to put his feet up. Just over five months later he’ll take on the Tokyo Marathon in March 2027 as he works towards his ambition of completing all six World Marathon Majors.
Aaron is using the challenge of running Berlin and Tokyo to raise a fundraising goal of £4,750 for Save the Children.
Speaking on the marathon challenge, Aaron said:
“Livewell celebrates 20 years in vending this September and we’ve made a lot of friends across the industry during that time.
I’ve put around 500km into the training just to get to the Berlin start line, so I’m hoping I can turn some of that effort into something worthwhile for Save the Children.
If friends and colleagues across NIVO and the wider vending industry would like to get behind the fundraising, I’d be hugely grateful.”

Save the Children is a children’s charity that works across the UK and in over 100 countries to make sure children are fed, learning and treated fairly.
